What is the difference between Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physio?
Paediatric Physiotherapists work towards increasing muscle strength, balance and coordination to help with independence throughout the day, developing gross motor skills and safety in your child’s environments. We also work closely with diagnosis and management of sports injuries and assessment and treatment of babies and infants.
Paediatric Occupational Therapists work towards achieving your child’s independence with daily tasks such as dressing, toileting, sensory regulation, social skills, fine motor skills in tasks such as handwriting and feeding and working towards helping your child with skills to thrive in their home and school community.
At Coastal Kids, we have specialists in both physio and OT so we can provide an all rounded approach to your childs needs.
